share your story!
a Let’s create a library of hope and inspiration for parents who have received a new diagnosis.
There is power in sharing your experiences. Every time you tell your story you can inspire and empower others. Through sharing your perspective, your hardships, your joys, and your unique experiences you can help create a web of support and strength in your community.
Voice recording vs text
Voice recordings add such a personal touch. To hear a parent/caregiver’s voice sharing something meaningful will be a treasure for your loved ones in years to come.
If you are not comfortable sending a voice recording please send me your written thoughts in text form and I will add your text to the video. Sharing your story in any form can influence generations to come.
“Hope and Sunny know how to love and teach people around them to love in such pure, simple, and honest ways.”
Tips for making a voice recording
Recording your voice and thoughts connects generations in a way that simple text cannot.
Record in a quiet space.
Write your thoughts down beforehand.
Review your notes and then speak naturally. We want this to sound like you.
It’s OK if you cry! Emotion is the nexus of connection. Few of us can get through a voice recording of something meaningful without crying. Vulnerability is bonding.
Your voice humanizes your story and brings your narrative to life.
When you are finished please text or email me an MP3 or M4A form of your voice recording. The voice memo app on your phone should send in this format automatically. If you choose to write text instead of voice recording you can email me your text or submit a form online through the link below.
